I heard an Apple employee refer to this as a loss of ‘inspiring teachers.” Just when we need inspiring teachers more than ever, education is doing its best to create robotic, automated teachers – not very inspiring!
It is refreshing to see that teachers are not the only ones upset by the mass amounts of testing that is required now a days and also the microscope we have been put under thanks to NCLB. I wish the parents would have taken it one step further and really saw a major flaw in NCLB incuded them – parents have no accountability under that law. Doesn’t it make sense to hold the people responsible who chose to have and raise children? Just a thought…
